Over the last two months, our generous corporate and individual donors have pledged more than US$5 million to support epidemic response efforts in China. Their donations funded local Chinese nonprofits with the staff and resources to rapidly respond and save lives. Learn more about our impact in Wuhan and Hubei Province.

As COVID-19 goes global, Give2Asia is expanding its campaign to support at-risk communities across Asia. Give2Asia’s team of international grantmaking experts is working with our local nonprofit network to identify and fund response efforts.

Currently, our priorities include:

  1. Supporting frontline health workers and national public health priorities
  2. Funding activities to slow the spread of the virus, including public health messaging campaigns
  3. Building nonprofit capacity to prepare health workers and communities to fight this and future epidemics

Give2Asia is maintaining separate disaster response funds for each of the above locations. When making an online donation or grant, donors can specify the preferred destination for their gift. We will continue to assess new needs in the region as they arise and expand our campaign accordingly as we learn more.
