At the peak of the second wave of COVID-19, Nepal faced one of the highest rate of confirmed deaths per capita anywhere in Asia.

Hospitals remain heavily impacted and the economic impacts of the lockdown continue to affect at-risk populations. Give2Asia’s local partners are working to complement Government relief efforts. They are urgently seeking more funding to address the surge.

Give2Asia is partnering with trusted nonprofit organizations to support frontline health workers and institutions responding to the coronavirus pandemic.  Our role is to empower our local NGO partners to support these communities through this time of challenge. Currently, our funding priorities include:

  • Food and sanitation materials support to residents of shelter
  • Livelihood support
  • Emergency medical supplies and safety materials
