Water and Healthcare Foundation (WAH), previously called Social Capital Venture Development, received Cambodia Non-Government Organization (NGO) status in January 2013, taking over a license from a Cambodian NGO called “Development and Appropriate Technology”, or “DATE”. Their mission is to improve the lives and conditions of rural communities in Cambodia, through dedication to sustainable clean water and health projects. Their priority is the well-being of women and children. Their vision is to provide clean water at school and at home to every child in Kampong Chhnang province and to provide medical training to all midwives and pediatric staff in Kampong Chhnang and surrounding provinces WAH operates as a not-for-profit social organization, with effective management, accountability for results, and monitoring of performance. WAH’s main geographical area of concentration is Cambodia, based on knowledge, expertise, and network.
