More ways to give to partner charities and projects

Our new gift form makes it easier than ever for donors to start an offline donation by bank transfer, paper check, or stocks.

Give2Asia enables donors to support our partner charities and projects through various payment methods.

Today, we’re launching a new, interactive gift form to make offline (non-credit card) donations easier. Rather than filling out a PDF or printed form, donors can now complete a “Make a Gift” form online in just a few minutes.

How to get started

The new gift form is available for all Friends Funds and Special Interest Funds at Give2Asia. (For donor-advised giving, please contact us directly instead.)

Go to the fundraising page for your preferred charity or project to get started. You can browse all available projects here.

On each fundraising page, you’ll see two giving options: Donate Online and More Ways to Give. That second button will take you to the gift form for that project.

If the charity or project has a fund in Give2Asia’s network (e.g., to accept donations from the USA, Australia, and Hong Kong SAR PRC), donors can select their preferred giving location for tax purposes:

Once a gift form is submitted, donors receive payment instructions and a confirmation email. Please note that this is not a tax receipt! Give2Asia will send our standard gift acknowledgment and tax receipt via email after we receive the donation.

Please keep in mind that donations via bank transfer, paper check, stock, etc. have different processing times:

  • For bank transfers, a donation will typically arrive in the destination fund within 7 days after the donation arrives.
  • For paper checks and stock donations, processing generally takes 2-4 weeks.

If a donor or a designated third party prefers to donate by check, we highly recommend sending it via registered mail.
