Our Mission

The mission of the Tianjin Juilliard School Education Development Foundation is to carry out charitable activities to advance the development of education and training in the performing arts in China.

The Need

The most significant barrier to success for exceptionally talented students is limited financial resources, which significantly impacts their artistic journey. In supporting students' needs the school will empower them to continue with their education and invest in the future of the performing arts.

The Solution

The Foundation extends essential support to gifted students by implementing various types of scholarships and financial aid projects aimed at aiding them in completing their studies and helping them thrive in the performing arts.

Our Impact

As of 2023, the Foundation allocated about RMB 3.2 million to support students from diverse backgrounds, many of whom have successfully graduated and gained employment at renowned symphony orchestras, continued their music education, and enriched communities through their outreach efforts.

The Tianjin Juilliard School builds on Juilliard’s renowned music performance and pedagogy traditions, providing the highest caliber of artistic education for gifted musicians from around the world.

Established on October 29, 2020, in Tianjin, China, the Tianjin Juilliard School Education Development Foundation has been recognized as a charity organization. The Foundation works with corporations, charitable foundations, and distinguished individuals to support the school’s long-term development with world-class faculty, providing students and the public with performance opportunities and offering financial aid to deserving students.
