新冠肺炎疫情令香港整體經濟受挫，基層家庭首當其衝，面對持續的停工及失業問題，貧窮住戶只可節衣縮食減輕經濟負擔，長遠影響基層學童的營養攝取及健康成長。

考慮到本地基層家庭的困境，『贈與亞洲』全力支持合作夥伴的「緊急食物支援行動」，為600戶有兒童的基層劏房家庭，提供持續半年，並切合營養需求的食物援助。每戶除了每星期獲發4包由營養師設計菜單的新鮮餸菜包外，營養師更會教授健康飲食及烹調知識，長遠達致「用小錢，煮得有營」。

食物援助服務
讓家庭每周獲取由註冊營養師精心設計四款「營養餸菜包」，為期半年，每戶在計劃內會收到共104包營養餸菜包。合共62400包。
基層婦女就業
為基層婦女提供就業機會，每份營養餸菜包，均由合作夥伴的基層婦女親手準備。
