Our Mission

The Tomorrow i-CAN program supports high school students from low-income families who are striving to become first-generation college students.

The Need

Many deserving students lack access to the college prep courses, mentoring, and scholarships that will enable them to enroll in a top university.

The Solution

Tomorrow i-CAN provides scholarships, training courses, and long-term mentoring to enhance the students’ learning capability and confidence.

Our Impact

Since the program's founding in 2008 following the Wenchuan Earthquake, Tomorrow i-CAN has helped 17,141 students change their future and raise their family's prospects.

Program Design

Excellent Courses

Students from top universities like Peking University will volunteer to teaching courses that enhance aided students’ study capabilities.

Leading Supervisors

Professors and teachers from top universities like Peking University will advise and mentor students in the program over the long term.

Scholarship Funding

Students accepted into the program will receive a scholarship that grows as they continue to succeed:

  • 1st Year Student: 1200RMB/year
  • 2nd Year Student: 1600RMB/year
  • 3rd Year Student: 2000RMB/year

Program Schedule

This new phase of Tomorrow i-CAN will start in 2021 Fall semester, with 500 students from 16 high schools at Henan and Xinjiang provinces.

In the 2022 Fall semester, it will expand to 1500 students from 50 high schools at Hanan, Xinjiang, Shandong, Hunan, Hubei, Guizhou, Guangxi, Gansu, Yunnan, Sichuan, etc. By 2025, Tomorrow-iCAN Program will cover 100 high schools and 20 provinces.
