Giving is an act of empathy. This is doubly true for international philanthropy, where the person you are helping could be 8,000 miles away.

In recent years, the need to bring people together has grown more urgent. In many parts of the world, differences are causing tensions in new ways between people of different beliefs, backgrounds, and locations.
There is no quick fix for this trend. But there is one way we know to help bring people together: helping communities in need—wherever they are in the world.
This year, our generous donors contributed $22 million to support on-the-ground charities across Asia.
These investments did a world of good for important causes like education, health care, and disaster relief. But each gift was more than an act of charity. It was a way to bring our world closer together.
Giving is an act of empathy. This is doubly true for international philanthropy, where the person you are helping could be 8,000 miles away. When you give to someone in another community, you remind them that they are not alone in their struggles. And you link your success with their own.
At Give2Asia, we specialize in philanthropy across borders. And we depend on your support to maintain the highest standards in the industry.
Give2Asia facilitates more donor gifts to Asia than any organization in the world. Our network of advisors covers 23 countries across the continent. Thanks to their efforts, we evaluate each new charity and review each grant report like no one else can.
One of the biggest trends in philanthropy is international giving within Asia. We now offer tax-deductible giving from China—Hong Kong SAR, with other locations coming soon.
We also have big plans to better enable the hundreds of local charities we fiscally sponsor: with better fundraising tools, training courses, and an online community.
Lastly, we’re investing in our own programs to promote rural health care in China and disaster preparedness in Southeast Asia.
2020 will bring new challenges and opportunities to the communities we care about, both at home and abroad. Today, I ask for your support to help Give2Asia meet those challenges.
Please join our mission to connect donors with trusted charities around the globe. Together, we can bring our world closer together, one act of kindness at a time.
