Give2Asia Expands Regional Coverage and Corporate Services

With a commitment to delivering quality philanthropic services that benefit the entire Asia-Pacific region, Give2Asia is extending its grantmaking to encompass 12 Middle East countries—Bahrain, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Syria, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Additionally, as a founding member of the Myriad alliance for borderless giving, Give2Asia is proud to announce that its growing corporate service capabilities now cover the globe.

Give2Asia leverages a unique combination of knowledge, expertise, and network-building to mobilize international philanthropy. Donors value the ability to give efficiently and confidently to charitable organizations based in local communities and that are working on the ground to address a broad range of critical issues.

This expansion further broadens Give2Asia’s reach and ability to serve both funders and communities in the region with direct support to 35 markets in the Asia-Pacific region including the Middle East.

Expansion to the Middle East

Give2Asia now strengthens local charitable organizations across the Middle East with donor-advised grantmaking and access to philanthropic services that tap support from funders in the U.S. and globally.

Donors with interests in the Middle East now have a trusted way to give compliantly and with confidence to nonprofit organizations in the expanded coverage area. As part of Myriad, the alliance for borderless giving, Give2Asia’s expansion includes both the opportunity for charities in the Middle East to establish American Friends Funds as well as similar funds in Europe, Canada, and the Asia-Pacific.

“Donors increasingly understand that giving directly to local organizations is the most effective route to impact. They are looking for reliable relationships to mobilize support for the communities they care about and with which they have deep connections,” explained Birger Stamperdahl, President and CEO of Give2Asia. “We are skilled in building those connections and have now expanded our expert knowledge to include Middle East grantmaking in order to benefit our broader community.”
