Founded in 2011 and the only certified member of 
The Global FoodBanking Network in Taiwan, Taiwan People’s Food Bank Association (hereinafter referred to as TPFBA) aims to achieve “No Waste, No Hunger” throughout Taiwan island-wide.
TPFBA encourages the public to donate surplus food, which we then distribute for free to over 200 non-profit social welfare organizations in Taiwan island-wide, giving away over 200 metric tons of food yearly. Meanwhile, TPFBA has also initiated a program called “Nutritional Supplements for Rural Schools” in 2016, it has helped more than 29 schools since then.
During the COVID-19 epidemic, TPFBA has worked with enterprises on a “Food Box” program to help those in need during emergencies.
