New Partnership with the Philippine Council for NGO Certification

Give2Asia and the Philippine Council for NGO Certification are partnering to make fiscal sponsorship easier for Philippines-based non-profit organizations. Give2Asia’s Fiscal Sponsorship program provides an opportunity for PCNC certified organizations to fundraise in the United States.

Thousands of donors each year support Asia-based nonprofits with Give2Asia’s partnership platform. In 2017, over US$7 million was given via Give2Asia to its Fiscal Sponsorship partners.

HOW IT WORKS FOR NONPROFITS

Through this partnership, PCNC certified organizations may register with Give2Asia as a Fiscal Sponsorship partner at a reduced rate of US$300. This is a one-time set-up fee reduced from the regular rate of US$1,000. The set-up fee will support the completion of required due diligence for Give2Asia partners to ensure the legitimacy and effectiveness of operations of applicant organizations and to create the administrative and operating system for your donations through Give2Asia.

Fiscal Sponsorship is a convenient way for organizations to accept tax-deductible contributions from supporters in the United States in which Give2Asia takes care of the day-to-day administration, receipting, accounting, legal and reporting requirements, making it simpler for you to connect your donors to your projects in Asia.

Once registered as a Fiscal Sponsorship Partner, each organization will have a donation page linked to the Give2Asia website that can receive donations via credit card (e.g. http://give2asia.org/partner). Donors are also given choices to send their donation via check, wire or securities which Give2Asia headquarters in San Francisco can process. All fundraising and donor outreach must be done by the fiscal sponsorship partner. Please note that Give2Asia is not a fundraising organization and only serves as a platform for giving.

NGOs with at least 3-year PCNC certification are eligible to apply. Interested parties may contact Manila-based Give2Asia Fiscal Sponsorship Program Manager and Philippine Field Advisor, Alexie Ferreria-Mercado at afmercado@give2asia.org
