Greener Tomorrows in Action: Results from Give2Asia’s 2025 End-of-Year Campaign

As 2025 came to a close, supporters of Give2Asia came together around a shared commitment to sustainability, environmental protection, and community-led climate resilience across China.

Through our End-of-Year Campaign, donors directed their giving to trusted local partners addressing urgent environmental challenges—from waste reduction and ocean health to animal welfare and food security.

Thanks to the generosity of individuals, families, and organizations, this year’s campaign translated into meaningful support for locally led solutions with long-term impact.

Supporting Environmental Action Through Friends Funds

During the course of the campaign, nearly 50 donors came together to contribute a total of $45,865 across Give2Asia’s environmental and disaster preparedness Friends Funds. These contributions supported trusted, locally led organizations working on issues ranging from waste reduction and ocean health to animal welfare, food security, and climate preparedness.

Together, these gifts helped strengthen grassroots efforts responding to environmental challenges at the community level—where solutions are most effective and sustainable.

Expanding Climate and Sustainability Grantmaking

Beyond individual donations, the campaign also reflected a growing donor focus on sustainability across advised giving. During this period, more than $2.4 million across 15 new grants were dedicated to environmental protection and climate resilience through new or existing donor-advised funds—demonstrating continued momentum toward long-term, strategic support for climate solutions.

A Strong Showing on GivingTuesday

Community enthusiasm peaked on GivingTuesday, when supporters rallied across Give2Asia’s Friends Funds. 73 contributions were made in a single day resulting in a total of $28,860 contributed to support locally led charitable organizations. This outpouring of support highlighted the power of collective action—and the impact that even small, targeted gifts can have when guided by local knowledge.

Looking Ahead

The results of Give2Asia’s 2025 End-of-Year Campaign underscore a growing commitment among donors to address environmental challenges through trusted, community-based partners. As climate risks continue to evolve, so too does the importance of flexible, locally informed philanthropy.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported this campaign and helped advance a greener, more resilient future. Together, these contributions are building momentum toward lasting environmental impact—one community, one partnership, and one gift at a time.
