The Chinese Association of Assistive Technology is a non-profit organization registered in Taipei. It was founded in 2002 with the purpose of helping the handicapped who qualify for the government subsidized assistive devices, but cannot afford the copay. CAAT recently developed home care educational programs for the elderly. CAAT also helps the government set up the screening methodology in selecting the most suitable assistive devices for the handicapped. CAAT’s motto is The Best Assistive Device is the One Meeting User’s Specific Needs”. The organization has helped thousands of handicapped and elderly over the last 16 years. Your donation is highly appreciated.
