Boyo Social Welfare Foundation aims to help disadvantaged and aboriginal families break free from the vicious cycle of poverty. The foundation trains local college students and members of minority communities to work at tutoring centers and has provided after‐school programs for low academic achievers at elementary and junior high schools. The programs focus on English and mathematics, the subjects that typically cause students the most difficulty. Their mission is to help disadvantaged and aboriginal families break from the vicious circle of poverty.
