Academy of Taiwan Strings (ATS) is Taiwan's longest-standing unconducted string orchestra. In order to cultivate people’s interest in sharing classical music, ATS produces various concerts with different content.

Our Mission
ATS aims to bring the beauty of classical music to everyone in Taiwan, regardless of where they live—whether in bustling cities or remote rural areas.The Need
Due to the urban-rural divide, people in remote areas rarely have the opportunity to experience live classical music. ATS strives to bridge this gap, ensuring that primary school students in these underserved communities can also discover the joy of music.The Solution
In 2010, ATS launched "Children in Wonderland" and began touring rural schools across Taiwan as a musical quartet. They invite like-minded partners to join them by funding these meaningful performances.Our Impact
As of June 2026, ATS has delivered 287 performances. However, many more rural schools are still eagerly awaiting their visit.
