Our Mission

Beijing AiEr Foundation is dedicated to alleviating poverty, helping the disabled, and supporting children to get an education. Its mission is to promote and practice modern philanthropic values to deliver equality and care while solving social problems.

The Need

In China, approximately 6 million patients have cerebral palsy, and 2 million are under 12 years old. Cerebral palsy patients not only suffer from severe pain themselves but also bring a significant burden to their families and society. Treatment and rehabilitation are long and arduous processes.

The Solution

For cerebral palsy patients, timely detection and treatment are crucial. This project aims to provide comprehensive support through three components: Disease knowledge promotion and education, free screening programs, and cerebral palsy patients’ support.

Our Impact

Since the project launched, AiEr has supported approximately 1,000 children with cerebral palsy and conducted free cerebral palsy screening activities in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Guangdong, and Hunan, for almost 10,000 children. Your donation will help cerebral palsy patients and their families.

Project Activities:

For cerebral palsy patients, timely detection and treatment are crucial. This project aims to provide comprehensive support through three components:

1. Disease knowledge promotion and education: this project will conduct online and offline knowledge education on cerebral palsy to promote basic knowledge and enhance people’s awareness of disease prevention and early detection to improve the recovery rate further.
2. Cerebral palsy free screening: this project will invite experts to carry out free screening and detection in the project areas. They will make the diagnosis, decide on clinical grades, and provide professional suggestions.
3. Cerebral palsy patients’ support, including:
a) AiEr Sunflower Project Support A: to provide operative support for patients. After application and evaluation, the eligible patients will be funded at most RMB 20,000 yuan to receive operative treatment.
b) AiEr Sunflower Project Support B: to provide postoperative rehabilitation services for patients jointly with the local Disabled Persons’ Federation or professional rehabilitation entities. After application and evaluation, the eligible patients will receive systematic and professional rehabilitation guidance and will be funded at most RMB 20,000 yuan for rehabilitation exercises.
c) AiEr Sunflower Project Support C: for those patients who need a two-stage operation, after application and evaluation, the eligible patients will be funded at most RMB 5000 yuan to receive the second-stage orthomorphic operation.
