Give2Asia Welcomes Three New Board Members in 2025


New additions to the board bring further expertise in Corporate Philanthropy and China

Give2Asia is delighted to welcome three distinguished professionals to its Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2025. Their collective experience will strengthen Give2Asia’s mission to deliver impactful private philanthropy to communities across China and the region. These new members bring deep expertise in engaging with China’s charitable sector and fostering partnerships with institutional donors, including corporations, private foundations, and families. 

 

Angeline Chin 

Angeline Chin has over 27 years of experience across the private, nonprofit, and government sectors, with a strong focus on social impact, partnerships, and fundraising in Asia. She has held leadership roles with the Securities Commission Malaysia, the Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong, and Credit Suisse, where she served as Head of Corporate Responsibility in Asia. Currently, Angeline is the Director of Sustainability for Asia Pacific at Johnson & Johnson, leading global environmental sustainability strategies within healthcare business priorities. 

Outside her professional work, Angeline is a dedicated art enthusiast, frequent traveler, and volunteer leader, serving on committees for the Singapore Garden City YPO and the AVPN board. 

 

 

Mark Sidel 

Mark Sidel is Doyle-Bascom Professor of Law and Public Affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has been deeply involved in philanthropy across China and Asia for decades. Previously, he played a pivotal role in establishing the Ford Foundation’s programs in China, Vietnam, and India, supporting philanthropy and civil society development across the region. Mark serves on the boards of the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ICNL) and the China Medical Board, and he is a widely recognized expert on philanthropy and civil society. 

In addition to his academic and board service, Mark has held visiting professorships at Harvard, Sciences Po Paris, and other leading institutions.

 

 

Wang Qinghong 

Dr. Qinghong Wang serves as Executive President of the East-West Philanthropy Forum (EWPF) and Executive Director of the China-Europe Philanthropy Innovation Research Center (CEPIRC) at Peking University. He specializes in fostering cross-cultural collaboration in climate change, rural revitalization, public health, and sustainability. Dr. Wang has held prominent advisory roles with organizations such as the China Charity Federation and the Compassion Award. 

A graduate of Peking University with advanced degrees in Political Science from the University of Hawaii, Dr. Wang’s work focuses on the power of international philanthropy and security issues in the Asia-Pacific region.
