The Ukranian people are facing growing violence, economic instability, displacement, and food insecurity. We are joining our Myriad alliance partner KBFUS to raise humanitarian relief funds for Ukraine.

The Ukraine Crisis Response Fund will pool contributions and distribute them to three nonprofits working on the frontlines. These organizations have been assisting Ukranian communities for decades, have a wide geographical reach within Ukraine, and are best placed to identify needs:

Caritas

With more than 30 regional organizations in 15 regions of Ukraine, Caritas is dedicated to assisting vulnerable persons affected by traumatic events—regardless of age, sex, nationality, religious or political beliefs. Since April 2014, it has been providing humanitarian assistance to more than 826,500 survivors of hostilities in Ukraine. Caritas Ukraine is gathering support to purchase supplies to meet the basic needs of children, single parents, disabled people, and the elderly.

People in Need

People in Need has a long-lasting presence in Ukraine starting from 2003, and it was there to provide immediate humanitarian assistance after the onset of the conflict in August of 2014. It continues to raise funds to support conflict-affected vulnerable populations by implementing a broad range of emergency food, non-food items, shelter, protection, livelihoods, WASH, medical and cash-based interventions along the two sides of the frontline in eastern Ukraine.

Polish Red Cross  (supporting Red Cross Ukraine)

The Polish Red Cross is part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. Since the beginning of the armed conflict in Ukraine, hundreds of thousands of people have crossed the Polish border – mainly women and children seeking shelter. The Polish Red Cross is providing food, shelter and medical assistance to Ukrainian refugees arriving in Poland. Volunteers and employees of the Polish Red Cross organize reception points along the Polish-Ukrainian border and are also present at railway stations in various cities across Poland
