Founded in 1966, the Rotary Club of Makati (RCM) has been at the forefront of community and humanitarian service in its district. Starting with its first major project, a postal station in Makati, RCM has since served countless communities and charitable institutions in the areas of health and nutrition, education, microfinance, water, maternal and child care, youth development, child abuse, the environment, disaster relief and crisis management, skills training, and livelihood generation. The Rotary Club of Makati is a member of Rotary International and shares the vision to uplift the economic well-being and improve the moral and ethical values and overall living conditions in their community. It has won the twin district awards Most Outstanding Club and Most Outstanding Club President a record six times.
