Kalptaru Shikshak Prasarak Mandal runs Roots & Wings Academy (experiential school) aiming at collaborating individual experiences with syllabus, learning environment & customized educational options. Using design thinking, they teach the kids through projects with life experiences and observation, visit places, grow our own food and make problem-solvers for society.
The hostel provides accommodation to 24 girls from backward tribes each year and the kids learn the job skills required to be the breadwinner of their families.
The Readymade Garments projects provide self-employment opportunities to below poverty line women from rural areas. For a single project, at a time, more than 500 ladies are given tailoring employment which eventually helps them run their households.
To provide trendsetting facilities to society and continue our projects at a better scale, they aim to build a new campus to accommodate different Labs, Robotics & 3D Printing, hostel & workshops through crowd-funding.
