Give2Asia Open to Submit New China Grants by May 2019

After supporting grant making to China since 2001, Give2Asia just completed its first full year of operating a China Representative Office under China’s new regulations. Thanks to the many donors and partners who helped us to move forward successfully with over 80 approved grants for local projects in China this past year.

Give2Asia has now submitted its initial set of grants for 2019, and we are pleased to report a new, additional window to submit more grants by May 2019. As part of this new, upcoming window for grants to mainland China, we wish to share new information:

  • First, if you have been considering a grant or partnership with a charitable project in mainland China, Give2Asia would be very happy to speak with you about how we can work together to make the project a success. Reach out to start the conversation.
  • Also, Give2Asia has been strengthening its capacity at its office in Beijing, and now has a full team of 8 people in China. We hope to be doing even more work to support prosperous communities across all of mainland China, and will share more with you as we continue to grow under the leadership if our China Chief Representative Ms. Carol Xiao-Qing Yang.

Finally, we deeply appreciate the good partnership that Give2Asia has developed with its professional supervisory unit, the China People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and with the Beijing Public Security Bureau to help us navigate the new rules and regulations in China and to increase the positive impact of philanthropy for China.
