ETIC. (Entrepreneurial Training for Innovative Communities)

ETIC., a Japan-based nonprofit organization founded in 1993, is one of the largest networks of social change leaders in Japan. They have pioneered the spaces of entrepreneurship in Japan for 30 years. Here you can see the key impacts that ETIC have created;

・Japan’s first program of practical student internships with entrepreneurs – around 2,500 college students participated since 1993.

・Japan’s first business plan competition for social entrepreneurs and the following incubation programs such as “SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP SCHOOL” “LOCAL VENTURE LAB” and “MAKERS UNIVERSITY” – 1,915 founders graduated have from our programs since 2000.

・”TOHOKU FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM” to reconstruct the disaster regions and revitalize the local economies – 276 business professionals & 130 small business owners have joined the program since 2011.

・”and Beyond Company” to unleash the creativity of leaders from the corporate, government, education sectors – 15,000 people per year participated in our events and programs since 2016.

Leveraging their 30 years of experience working with entrepreneurs, ETIC., partnered with corporations, foundations, international organizations, and individuals to support Japanese nonprofits and social enterprises through strategic philanthropy, program sponsorship, and program development and implementation.
