Friends Fund Program Internship

About the Position

Give2Asia is seeking an intern to work with our Friends Fund team in support of our due diligence process. This is an ideal role for someone who is interested in philanthropy, the decision-making process with funding NGOs, and grant management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administrative tasks under the due diligence process including Salesforce record entries;
  • Conducting program research and background checks for due diligence;
  • Researching and writing informational and educational materials;
  • Any other assistance related to programs and administration work, as needed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has, or is working towards, a bachelor’s or master’s degree; interest in International Philanthropy, Asian Affairs or Nonprofit Organizations; full working English proficiency (Mandarin is a plus); strong research, writing, and editing skills; computer and internet proficiency; excellent interpersonal skills; and a desire to learn. A sense of humor is great, too!

Candidates must be available for a minimum of 10 to 15 hours per week for at least 3 months. This will be a work from home arrangement.

Target start date: June 1, 2022. This is a volunteer position with a small stipend available for meals.

Location: Asia (Taiwan, Philippines, Singapore, or Hong Kong preferred)
