Give2Asia is an international nonprofit organization based in Oakland, CA. Our mission is to increase philanthropy across borders by making it easier for donors to support local charities overseas. Since 2001, we have delivered more than $350 million to causes in 23 countries.

About the Position

Give2Asia is seeking an intern to work with our Family/Corporate team in support of our due diligence process. This is an ideal role for someone who is interested in philanthropy, the decision-making process of funding NGOs, corporate social responsibility, and grants management.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Administrative tasks for due diligences within Salesforce
  • Conducting program research and background checks for due diligences
  • Communicate with Country Advisors regarding due diligences
  • Researching and writing informational and educational materials
  • Any other assistance related to programs and administration work, as needed

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has, or is working towards, a bachelor’s or master’s degree; interest in International Philanthropy, Asian Affairs or Nonprofit Organizations; strong research and writing skills; computer and internet proficiency; excellent interpersonal skills; and a desire to learn. A sense of humor is great, too!

Candidates must be available for a minimum of 10 to 15 hours per week for at least 3 months. This will be a work from home arrangement. Hours are flexible, but candidates should be available for a portion of standard business hours (Pacific time).

Target Start Date: September 12, 2022. This is a volunteer position with a small stipend available.
