Our Mission

To promote the welfare of all animals and to prevent cruelty to animals. To inculcate humanistic values in humans and to spread the message of kindness and compassion towards animals and respect for the environment. To strive for a balance in the man-animal-nature relationship.

The Need

Out of the 3 lakhs street dog population of Bangalore, 70% are in constant need of critical care medical attention. At least 20% of these animals die without receiving any medical care. There is a need for a week-run Trauma Facility to care for them.

The Solution

CARE runs a well-equipped Trauma Facility for street animals, the biggest in the city. 4 ambulances cover the breath of the city, bringing these animals to the facility every day. They are given the best medical and surgical aid. The Trauma Centre houses 180 dogs and 30 cats at any given time.

Our Impact

Since its inception, CARE has helped over 30000 injured and sick street animals and given them the attention they needed. Every month, the Trauma Centre provides medical aid to 250-300 animals. CARE's Trauma Centre is the biggest in the city.
