ATMA Foundation

ATMA Foundation is a social sector nonprofit organisation from Kerala, India, dedicated to community development, family welfare and individual empowerment.

ATMA supports children, adolescents, youth, women, senior citizens and the rural population by implementing projects and campaigns for care, protection and education of vulnerable children, bridging the digital divide, livelihood enhancement, promotion of traditional art forms, disaster relief and rehabilitation, environmental sustainability  etc.

Some of our flagship projects are:

• ATMA Gurukulam Girls’ Home: Residential care home for disadvantaged girls
• ATMA Uyare: Online learning support for underprivileged children 
• ATMA Family Counselling Centre: Free counselling and guidance 
• ATMA Digital & Financial Empowerment Centre: Stand-alone and travelling classrooms for digital literacy and financial inclusion campaigns 
• ATMA Vayobandhu: Helpline for the elderly
• ATMA Prakriti: Tree planting and maintenance

A fully compliant ISO certified Charitable Trust with 12A, 80G, FCRA and CSR 1 registrations, ATMA has benefitted approximately 4 lakh  families through its projects and nearly 2000 outreach events.
