About KDAB Mother and Child Health Care Center and Hospital
The Korean Development Association in Bangladesh has worked with rural populations in Bangladesh for over 20 years. In that time, KDAB has made strides in addressing several issues related to education, health and livelihood training. In its new Mother and Child Health Care Center and Hospital initiative KDAB will build a 50-bed hospital for women and children in the Kurigram District. At the moment, patients must travel over two hours to reach the nearest medical facilities. The hospital will provide general treatment, surgical treatment, emergency care, diagnostics and ambulance services. Expert doctors and nurses will staff the hospital, which will include a residential facility and 24-hour access for patients. Supporters of KDAB can now make their tax-deductible donation to this project by visiting http://www.give2asia.org/kdab.
