Founder, Innovation Works
Mr. Kai-Fu Lee, former President of Google China, is a prominent information technology executive who recently founded Innovation Works in Shanghai. Having held senior positions within Microsoft and Apple, Mr. Lee is one of the most prominent figures in China’s internet sector.
Mr. Lee’s philanthropic activities include the establishment of the Chinese Youth Development Fund in 2006 to address the difficulties faced by China’s youth in academic and career development. The fund has created an online resource and virtual community, www.5xue.com, which fosters professional development in young people. He also created a university lecture series to engage 50,000 young college students across China.
Mr. Lee joined Give2Asia as Trustee in June 2010.
