Rong plays a crucial leadership role in providing strategic leadership in Give2Asia business development in China, overseeing, managing, developing and developing programs in China; managing China office human resource, finance and administration, overseeing China team; representing Give2Asia and raising our visibility and promoting our services in China. She is responsible for ensuring the China team provides excellent and individualized service to our grantees and donors.
Prior to joining Give2Asia, Rong served as the research fellow and Assistant to Director of Institute of American Studies, China Academy of Social Sciences, where she conduced academic and policy-oriented research on Sino-US relations, and managed external/international exchange and cooperation programs. She served as Assistant to China Program Director of the Asia Foundation Beijing Office, assisting on the programming and office management. She also served as a journalist, magazine editor, and university teacher on a part-time base. She once visited and studied in George Washington University as a visiting scholar with Ford Fellowship for one year.
Rong received her both master’s degree in law and bachelors’ degree in law from Peking University.
