Kalsang is responsible for managing fiscal sponsorship funds for Asia-based charities as well as US donor accounts for individuals, corporations and foundations. Prior to joining Give2Asia, Kalsang was at UBS where she handled the day-to-day account management of a growing clientele of high net worth individuals for a private wealth management adviser ranked among Wall Street’s best female financial advisers.

Kalsang received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics coupled with a minor in Peace & Conflict Resolution Studies from Brandeis University in Massachusetts. While at Brandeis, Kalsang was part of a steering committee for the Hewlett Pluralism Alliance, which provided funds to student groups for creative new initiatives that fostered networking and coalition building on campus.

Kalsang serves on the Board of The Sogan Foundation (www.sogan.org), an Oakland based nonprofit organization that aspires to bring hope and opportunity to disadvantaged communities. In addition, Kalsang is part of a capital campaign team entrusted with the responsibility to raise sufficient funds for the establishment of a Tibetan culture center in the Bay Area.
