Gillian Yeoh, Senior Program Officer

Gillian is the Program Officer at Give2Asia, a U.S. based, not-for-profit organization promoting philanthropy to Asia. Gillian is responsible for managing donor accounts and she is also specialized in grants to Southeast Asia and disaster recovery projects.

Prior to joining Give2Asia, Gillian was an accountant with The Asia Foundation, Give2Asia’s parent organization that is committed to the development of a peaceful, prosperous, just, and open Asia-Pacific region. She also used to work with the tax and legal department at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Singapore and was an intern with Faber Group Berhad and Rangkaian Segar Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia.

In her free time, Gillian volunteers with Project Open Hand and other Bay Area non-profit organizations. She is also a professional member of Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy (AAPIP), a Rescue Scuba Diver, and a black belt in Taekwondo.

Gillian was a John W. Nason fellow at Carleton College, Minnesota for a one-year non-degree postgraduate program. She was a Renong Group Scholar for her Cambridge A-level studies in Yayasan Saad Matriculation College in Malaysia and graduated on the Dean’s list for her Bachelor in Accountancy from Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, where she also held the Ministry of Foreign Affairs scholarship.
