Dean is currently a Programs Associate supporting the Programs Department at Give2Asia. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Affairs with a concentration in International Political Theory (Minor in Philosophy) from George Mason University. Prior to coming to Give2Asia, Dean finished an internship at Upwardly Global, a San Francisco based non-profit that assists immigrants, refugees, and asylees professionals from developing countries re-establish their careers in the U.S. Before that, he was a Shared Services Assistant at Freddie Mac where he organized & attended Sarbanes-Oxley compliance meetings between employees and contracted firms. Dean is technologically savvy and highly proficient in a wide variety of software, as well as both Microsoft Windows and Apple OS.
Dean spent most of his childhood in England before immigrating with his family to Washington DC. Growing up, he developed a passion for European soccer, and in his spare time, he enjoys studying philosophy.
