Annette Bousquet is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Give2Asia.
Annette spent twelve years at Bank of America in San Francisco and London. Her early career at BoA progressed from financial analyst to manager, with extensive experience in all aspects of financial analysis and strategic planning. During her six years in London (1996-2003), she was Vice President and Business Finance Manager for multinational lending in Europe, the Middle East and Africa; audited and analyzed data; oversaw accounting staff; and participated in strategic business planning.
In 2003, she chose to leave Bank of America. She moved to India, where she spent two years helping to develop and expand a Kerala state-sponsored microcredit program that served more than 48,000 women and provided over $4 million in microloans. Annette initiated and developed a training program for staff and microloan recipients. For that she sought and obtained EU funding and developed a successful “training of trainers” program.
Annette comes to Give2Asia directly from two years at MicroCredit Enterprises (MCE) in San Francisco, an innovative non-profit international microfinance organization, where she was Chief Financial Officer.
She is a graduate of Texas Tech University and earned her MBA at the Thunderbird School of International Management.
