Prior to joining Give2Asia in 2013, Henry Tang was the CFO of Tides, a charitable organization providing services related to donor-advised funds and fiscal sponsorships. Henry has also been the CFO of a publicly-traded investment bank, technology and health care companies. Henry developed a track record in a variety of finance capacities, including risk management, re-engineering systems, strategic planning, and financial structuring. He served on a United Nations mission to Angola, training the Ministry of Finance in project finance, evaluating proposed development projects. He taught a graduate course at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil. Henry holds a Master of Business Administration with distinction from the New York University Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Berkeley’s Honors Program.
