Thao works under the Director of Marketing & Partnerships to assist in the marketing operations of Give2Asia.
Thao received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from UC Davis. She is currently taking her Masters in English at San Jose State University and expecting to complete it this December. While at SJSU, she served as a Graduate Assistant for the Composition Program Director where she successfully organized three professional development workshops for instructors and developed and taught lessons for Freshman Composition classes. Before that she was a Training-the Trainers Project Coordinator & then Interim Program Manager at International Children Assistance Network (ICAN) where her functions ranged from liaising between ICAN and other partner organizations, developing bilingual training curriculum and evaluation tools, and authoring or editing grant proposals to various organizations.
Battling a strong, recurrent travel lust, she hopes to satisfy it soon with a trip to Southeast Asia. Her hobbies include knitting beanies and scarves, shopping for wines, and hosting tea parties.
