Kids with Cancer Foundation
Michael Doyle, a resident of Vietnam for the past 21 years and a cancer patient, founded the Kids with Cancer Foundation of Vietnam (KwCF) in February 2012. He found out that children’s cancer is generally a curable disease, but in Vietnam, children diagnosed with cancer have a 5-year survival rate of less than 10%. This is contrasted to a global average of 85%. Our foundation’s sole mission is to increase the 5-year survival rate of Vietnamese children with cancer to above 50% over the next 5 years.
