TA-LIN HSU, CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
Ta-lin Hsu is the founder and chairman of H&Q Asia Pacific. Since its inception, H&Q Asia Pacific has managed 19 funds of over US$2.1 billion in committed capital. Prior to founding H&Q Asia Pacific in 1986, Dr. Hsu worked at IBM for 12 years, reaching the position of senior manager in the research division — with corporate responsibility for advanced research and development of mass storage systems and technology — before joining Hambrecht & Quist as a general partner in 1985.
