WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING
“Our goal with the Global Health Partnerships program was to work with our partners to explore promising practices and innovations to tackle the global cancer epidemic.
The award-winning Global Health Partnerships program was one of the most complex, yet rewarding endeavors we have undertaken. Our $47 million multi-year commitment involved a variety of partners working with 31 grantees in 46 countries. The complexity of focusing on cancer- and tobacco-control efforts in Asia required experts on the ground to provide due diligence and transactional support, and most importantly, to ensure a positive and stable relationship with our grantees. Together with Give2Asia, Pfizer and the Pfizer Foundation granted more than $6 million for policy work and cancer and tobacco education throughout Asia. Although our Global Health Partnerships program has concluded, we look forward to exploring opportunities to partner with Give2Asia on important health issues in Asia.”
- Caroline Roan, President, Pfizer Foundation
“Our close partnership with Give2Asia puts us in close, regular contact with the local groups we support, and let’s us work across multiple countries at once.”
- Jackie Liao, Manager of Community Investments & Global Responsibility, Starbucks Coffee Company
“Our partnership with Give2Asia is an essential part of the Caterpillar Foundation’s Asia-Pacific presence. Thanks to Give2Asia, the Foundation is able to continue expanding its investments in the region by supporting environmental, educational and basic human needs programming.”
- Will Ball, Vice President of The Caterpillar Foundation
“Providing access to health services and education, including oral health, is critical to building a positive and sustainable impact on our local communities, and we seek new opportunities to partner with leaders in the Asia-Pacific region and elsewhere.
The Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company Foundation has a sustained, global commitment to oral health education and support, especially as it pertains to caries prevention. We partnered with Give2Asia to launch a community service grant and a scholarship program with the Australian Dental Association that focuses on oral health care education and access. These programs will help improve oral health and are designed to boost awareness across future generations.”
