It has supported health projects across Afghanistan and built 32 schools for over 30,000 children, twinning 20 of them to schools across the UK.It runs a successful cricket project for girls and boys backed by the famous MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) and the Afghan National Team. From 2011, AC will concentrate its education work in 4 valleys in the North East, bringing education to a population of 70,000. AC will build and equip large schools in central villages, run 30 community based schools, reaching every child in the area, fund teacher training and provide capacity building for local education authorities.
